What Are the Rules of This Game?
Despite knowing that Peter Sismanis was a convicted sex offender, the HPD maintained and fostered a close relationship with Sismanis throughout the years.
In October 2018, the HPD selected Hiller's Pizza as its sole community partner in the Pink Patch fundraising campaign, directing residents to Hiller's Pizza to purchase patches. In addition to selling the patches for the HPD, Hiller's also donated 10% of its sales each Wednesday during the month of October, solidifying his ties to the HPD.
In April of 2021, the HPD once again chose Hiller's Pizza as its sole community partner for its Autism Awareness Campaign. As a demonstration of his "friendship" with the HPD, Sismanis donated 15% of sales each Wednesday of that month.
Just 22 months later, Sismanis would commit yet another sexual assault on a teen employee.
